Made You Think 101: How To Feel Note

"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." - Maya Angelou

It's so sad when love turns sour.
When something that made you feel so great turns around and makes you almost want to regret it.
When you wanted to feel so much more but end up not wanting to feel anything at all.
You end up just wanting to forget it all.
When the pain overshadows the affection.
When you want to bury the memories as you no longer want to associate with them.
But you can't help but use those memories as a base of how you want and don't want to feel.
How you want and don't want to be loved.
And a way of highlighting your strengths, weaknesses and areas that need work.
Maybe we don't always want to remember how we felt when we were at our lowest but we want a point of reference to know how to feel moving forward.

Note: This Maya Angelou quote has been in my head all day, so I decided to just write a little note on it.
