Lyrical Sensation: Guess Who?

Well I guess I’m back again, this time I’m going to do this a little different though. I would like to share with you something amazing, or should I say someone amazing. I'm not too sure if you have heard of him or not, but this guy in phenomenal, his lyrical content is as real as it gets and his flow; I quote is 'mean'. I bet you're wondering 'who is this guy', aren't you? I know I’m taking long to mention his name but I think he deserves an epic build up. Yes, I know that's a bit of an exaggeration and you're probably sitting there thinking 'why the hell am I reading this'; but trust me it's worth reading on to find out who I’m referring to. Well here it is, the moment that you have been waiting for; this amazingly gifted creature that was created at the hands of God is........ Wait for it..... Keep waiting..... Just a little longer now..... Almost there..... Okay I think you have waited long enough. His name is... is ... is... erm I forget his name, darn it, erm (scratches head) what's his name again. I'm so sorry readers. I forget his name. WAIT!! DON'T CLICK ON THAT 'X' JUST YET!! I was just playing with you guys, so smile; life is beautiful. Alright, I think that's enough playing now, time to get serious (serious face); his name is... (look down)
So have you heard of him? If not, I advise you to check him out; if you read my previous posts you would have noticed that I mentioned him before. So let me just tell you again, this guy is beyond phenomenal, he raises the bar within the music industry and within hip-hop itself; it's fair to say that he is no 'Tupac' but he comes close, very close. Some people might disagree with that statement though, but it's purely my opinion so you’re welcome to agree or disagree because everyone holds their own opinions, right?
I talked about his mix tapes in earlier posts, well I’m back to talk about his album, yes his long but patiently waited for album has finally dropped. You know I had to go buy that, right? I suggest you do too, I mean everyone downloads nowadays but because I am a true J.Cole fan I had to buy it to show him some love. Although I don't like the fact that he's under JayZ's wing but that's a whole different story.
The album is called 'Cole World: The Sideline Story', for me overall I love every track and I love the fact that every single track has meaning and tell its own story from different chapters in his life. It's a feel good album and it maintains a nice vibe throughout. What I mean is you will have albums that will have tracks that are from different genres and it will seem as though you have placed your iPod on shuffle but in this case 'Cole World' maintains a stable feel good vibe from beginning to end. It's the type of album you can listen to when you come home from a long day and you have a bath, put your feet up with a glass of wine and relax; whilst you contemplate about life.
The mood is set from the very intro of the album where he talks about the day he got signed, the piano that plays in the background just grabs your attention and sucks you into that mind relaxed, body relaxed mode.
I think I have written a great deal and if you have made it this far, I’d like to take this time out to thank you for reading but just before I lose your attentions; I would like to say my favourite tracks are 'Dollar and A Dream III', 'In the Morning' featuring Drake, 'Cole World' (I love the chorus of this track it's so catchy), 'Nobody's Perfect' (It's a beautiful track featuring Missy Elliot, i love it and i think a lot of people can relate to it not to mention his whole album); and 'Lost Ones' (is the definition of real music).

To be honest, I love every single track on the album like I said before; in my opinion it's one of the best albums of the year. It's definitely in the top 10 along with Adele's '21', Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday' and Jessie J's 'Who You Are' and it's definitely second in my all-time favourites without a doubt; just below Usher's 'Confessions' album. I'm sorry but that is the best album ever, and you can call me naive because you'll probably name an album from the 80's/90’s that is probably better, but then again it's your opinion. Even-though I'll put my hands down and say that the 90's era of music is the best in comparison to what they label as good music nowadays.
Last but not least, and I do apologize for babbling on (serious face) I'm sorry. I'm going to love you and leave you now, but take this with you before you click on that 'X', just from me to you, the album is worth every penny and I advise you yet again to go and purchase one; and keep an eye out for this lyrical sensation. As the tweeps would say #TeamJCole.
Thanks for reading, much love Tanny xx, and I appreciate it if you stuck with me throughout and read every single word, even down to this last dot.
